Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Day 11: Drive Kausani – Karnaprayag

After breakfast drive to Karnaprayag. Today we will enter into the high rise area. We watched them afar from the peaks and they begin to accompany us more and more closely above, Way up into the climbs high above the river channel called "Alkneneda". An amazing drive! Karanprayag is also a holy place in itself, it is one of the five confluences and it is the confluence of Holy River Alaknanda and River Pindari, this town is surrounded by Nanda Devi, and Glittering peaks of Trisul, Dronagiri and Maiktoli. The legend says that "Karna of Mahabharata meditated here for many years to acquire the impregnable shield, which made him a formidable warrior in the battlefield" and Swami Vivekananda also meditated here. There are many places to visit of tourist interest in Karnaprayag like: Urma Devi Temple, Nauti Village. All of these places are well known tourist spots in Karnaprayag Uttarakhand India.

Uma Devi Temple: Uma Devi Temple and Karna Temple are one of the major attractions of Karnaprayag. Karnaprayag is named after Karna of Mahabharata. Karna worshipped Sun God here to acquire impregnable shield. After a cycle of twelve years, Goddess Uma idol is taken out in a grand procession to her maternal place at Dimmer village. The temple holds esteemed importance for the locals.

Nauti Village: It is the inaugural point of the greatest and longest Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra. The yatra is one of the longest pilgrimage tour covered by foot into the strenuous path endowing profuse natural beauteousness which can leave anyone spellbound. The yatra is done once in 12 years. The Nauti village is said to be the home of Goddess Nanda. This yatra was last completed in the year 2000 and next is going to commence in 2012. Overnight at Karnaprayag.

Day 12: Karnprayag – Josimath - Auli

Morning Drive from Karnaprayag to Josimath, climbing up the valley to Josimath at 3400 m. Joshimath is the winter seat of lord Badrinath. Joshimath is derived from Jyotirmath - the seat of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. The 4km long ropeway connecting Joshimth to Auli is the longest ropeway in Asia; go up by cable car to ski at Auli. Overnight stay at Auli.

Day 13: Joshimath – Srinagar (155 km)

Today we will drive back to Srinagar on Alaknanda River Valley. Drive continues with the river. Another wild day in the Himalayas. Srinagar is 155 km from Joshimath and takes around 5 to 6 hour drive. Reach Srinagar. Overnight at Hotel in Srinagar.

Day 14: Srinagar – Rishikesh (152 km)

After breakfast drive to spiritual city Rishikesh, which is 152 km from Srinagar and its take around 5 hour drive. Arrive in Rishikesh, check in the Hotel/ Resort for overnight stay.

Day 15: In Rishikesh

Day free for sightseeing / Meditation. Overnight in Hotel/ Resort in Rishikesh.

Day 16: Drive Rishikesh – Haridwar (20 km) and then Train to Delhi.

Afternoon drive to Haridwar which is 20 km from Rishikesh. Arrive at Haridwar Railway Station and board in the Shatabdi Express Train to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17: Delhi

Day free in Delhi for visit in local markets. Late evening transfer to IGI Airport for catch the onward flight.
